Modern 2-STROKE ENGINES
CRANKSHAFT REBUILDING $75
Includes cleaning, disassembly, polishing of critical surfaces, rod pressing in an RCE crankshaft jig, and truing. Rod kit extra $80-300. Send the crankshaft assembly for service.
CYLINDER HEAD MODS $70
This service includes all machining modifications per situation and application. Services include gasket surfacing, turning, clearance-machining for big bores and or strokers, flat-top piston conversions, lowering compression for low octane pump gas with ethanol, raising compression for high altitude, TIG-welding, o-ring groove cutting, plug-hole turning and threading. Send the cylinder head for service.
POWER VALVE SERVICE $90
Power valves are built into the cylinder around the exhaust port. They?re supposed to make the exhaust port bigger when you twist the throttle open. Power valves are complicated mechanisms prone to failure. We know what parts break and we usually stock them. We offer a service to clean, inspect, and adjust the power valves. Send the complete top end assembly for service.
CYLINDER PLATING/ POWER VALVE SERVICE (aluminum cylinders) $325
Most modern dirt bikes use hard coatings applied directly to the aluminum cylinder bore. Nickel-composite plating is the hardest low friction coating available. We can plate a cylinder back to original size or to a big bore size for no extra charge. 1-Year warranty on plating defects. This service includes cylinder head resurfacing, stud removal and thread repair, and power valve service and assembly on applicable models. Send the complete top end assembly for service.
CYLINDER PLATING (iron cylinders) $350
This service is especially great for vintage cylinders with cast iron sleeved bores and CR500s. It is designed to preserve the bore at a particular size. Nickel-composite coating that is very hard and long wearing and comes with a 1-year warranty on plating defects. Send the complete top end assembly for service.
BORING and HONING for iron-lined cylinders $80
This service includes cleaning, boring, diamond-honing, port chamfering, exhaust bridge relieving and polishing. We offer Wiseco, Pro-X, JE, Athena, Magnum, and Vertex piston kits as well as gaskets and bearings. Send the complete top end assembly for service.
2-STROKE PORTING For Japanese and Euro dirt bikes
1990 to current Models $150 when having your cylinder plated or $275 if not plating.
All 2-stroke porting packages include the following; disassembly and cleaning of all the top end components, complete porting and polishing, baking soda blasting, epoxy-filling if applicable , and reassembly of power valve system.
BOTTOM END ENGINE REBUILDING SERVICES
Individual and all-inclusive services related to the whole engine or just the components of the crankcase.
CRANKCASE BORING/PORTING $100
This service is used in conjunction with big bore stroker mods. Each case half is bored at the center surface to accommodate the clearance of the stroker connecting rod. Then each case half is match-ported to the cylinder and make clearance for the big bore piston skirt. Send the crankcases and cylinder, plus dimensions on the stroker crank.
ENGINE DISASSEMBLY AND ASSEMBLY $375
This service includes internal flushing and exterior baking-soda blast-cleaning and works into disassembly, clean & inspect, precision measuring, and a detailed estimate with performance and durability options like bearings, clutch baskets, cranks, OE parts. Parts are extra. No warranty is included on used dirt bike engine service. Send the complete engine except carb, for service.
